Ty Powell

The former Seaside High quarterback and MPC defensive back is out for the season for the Buffalo Bills after tearing his ACL in practice.
A backup linebacker, Powell was regarded as one of the Bills top special team players last season, recording 14 tackles in 14 games.
The 6-foot-2, 250-pounder is in his third season -- second in Buffalo -- after originally being drafted by Seattle in 2013.
Powell had two tackles in the Bills preseason opener against Carolina.
Powell is one of three former Seaside High players in the NFL, joining Bears linebacker Mason Foster and Seattle offensive lineman Terry Poole.
In addition, former Seaside three-sport star Ron Rivera is the head coach of the Carolina Panthers.
