Andrew Franks

 The senior kicker has been named the Liberty League’s Special Teams Performer of the Week for the fifth time this season for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute football team.

  Franks broke the school record for field goals last week with a pair, giving him 33 for his career. He also broke the RPI school record for the longest field goal with a 51-yarder.
  An All-American last year, Franks already has the school record for field goals in one game (5), and is within six field goals of the single season school record.
 Franks, a former three-sport standout at Carmel, also averaged 42 yards on punts last week and sent three balls into the end zone for touchbacks last week.
