Is it time to take the Pirates seriously?
Stevenson is 9-2 overall -- the only team in the MTAL with a winning overall record -- and is 2-0 in league play.
 It's clear that 6-foot-3 Matt Chodosh can put the ball in the basket, averaging nearly 20 points a game and 24.1 points in two MTAL games.
 Chodosh has five double-doubles this season, averaging nearly 10 rebounds a game.
 Of course, the Pirates still haven't beaten a team with a winning record this year.
 But is that their fault?
 What Stevenson has done is establish confidence on the court. This is a young team with just two seniors that see significant minutes.
