The former Palma High quarterback will look to enhance his NFL draft stock next Saturday when he takes part in the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama.
Fales, who broke or tied 25 San Jose State school records in two years, threw for 4,189 yards and 33 touchdown passes last fall.
The 6-foot-3 Fales, who played at Monterey Peninsula College in 2011, broke the Spartans single-season passing record in 2012 with 4,193 yards and 33 touchdowns.
Fales closed a chapter at San Jose State by tossing six touchdown passes in beating then unbeaten Fresno State, earning National Player of the Week honors.
Projected to go anywhere between the fourth and seventh rounds of this May's NFL draft, Fales started his college career at Nevada, playing behind current 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick.
Last year former Seaside High standout Ty Powell took part in the Senior Bowl as a linebacker. He currently plays for the Buffalo Bills.
