Alisal boys soccer

While its record 58 game unbeaten streak is officially over, the target is still on Alisal's back as it opens league play tonight, hosting North County.
Alisal didn't dodge anyone during this record run, competing in big time tournaments over the last three years to gain national recognition.
It played nationally ranked San Clemente of southern California to a 1-1 draw earlier this year and beat nationally ranked De La Salle two years ago.
Its 2-1 loss to Loyola of Los Angeles on Jan. 3 isn't a setback. Loyola is ranked No. 3 in the state and No. 9 in the nation.
The Trojans are going to be just fine as they begin defense of their Gabilan Division and Central Coast Section Division I titles this evening.
Alisal is unbeaten in its last 29 league games.
