Community Hospital of the Monterey Peninsula is having Dr. Peter Gerbino speak to kids about sports injuries on Thursday, Dec. 12 from 5:30-6:30 p.m. at the Peninsula Wellness Center in Marina.
Dr. Gerbino, a Monterey orthopedic surgeon and specialist in pediatric sports medicine, will speak on common sports-related injuries, ways to avoid them and treatment options.
Dr. Gerbino is also a physician for the U.S. Figure Skating Team. The event is free, but registration is required by calling 888-452-4667.
