North Salinas-Los Gatos football

No. 7 North Salinas (7-3) at No. 2 Los Gatos (7-3), 7 p.m.
 Co-champions of the De Anza Athletic League, the Wildcats blew out Division I No. 2 seed and fellow co-champion Milpitas 55-34 last week.
 Owners of 12 Central Coast Section Divisional titles and 56 postseason wins, two of Los Gatos' three losses this fall came at home.
 North Salinas is making its first playoff appearance in five years. It is 10-11 in the playoffs, having lost its last two games.
 Behind quarterback Justyn Gutierrez, the Vikings went 7-1 after an 0-2 start, averaging 41.1 points a game in their wins. David Dorr has 46 catches for nearly 800 yards this fall.
 Defensively, North Salinas has to contain tailback Joey Wood, who has rushed for over 1,300 yards and 17 touchdowns this fall for Los Gatos.
 Wood has more than half of the Wildcats' touchdowns this fall.
