The first thing Carmel head coach Golden Anderson said after the game is "we will be back."
 I have no doubt.
 You don't average 48.3 points a game all season by accident.
 And the orchestrator behind that attack in quarterback Connor Marden will be back.
 But this isn't the first time the Padres defense has struggled in the postseason. This was a playoff game and Carmel gave up 77 points.
 Perhaps more attention to the defense needs to be addressed.
 Few players go both ways for Carmel. That's a luxury. But are there enough defensive demons on that side of the ball?
