The Cowboys are hobbling into the postseason, having been outscored 22-5 in their last three games.
Salinas has been held to two runs or less 12 times this year, posting a 2-10 record in those games.
As a team, Mitty posted a 2.47 earned run average in the regular season.
The Monarch have the distinction of having beaten Salinas 12-8 on Feb. 23. The eight runs were the most Mitty has given up all year.
Ross Scarr will likely get the start for Salinas.
