Before three-time beach volleyball Olympic gold medalist Kerri Walsh helps dedicate a new beach volleyball court at North Salinas on Saturday, the Monterey Bay League Gabilan jamboree will be held at 8 a.m.
North Salinas will host the seven team jamboree to officially kick off the prep volleyball season. Three 15 minute matches will go on simultaneously in the gym.
After that Walsh will join representatives from all schools at 10:30 a.m., where she will serve the first ball on the sand court. There will be two-on-two beach volleyball scrimmages, with Walsh joining players from each team.
