Is all-star outfielder Carlos Beltran enough to capitulate the Giants back to the World Series?
He is certainly an upgrade.
Beltran will enhance a weak hitting lineup, starving for a star. He should help Aubrey Huff and Pablo Sandoval see better pitches.
What the Giants are still lacking is table setters at the top of the order. Getting Freddy Sanchez back in September would be a sufficient addition.
