The Mission Trail Athletic League Center Meet will kick off the league season for 14 schools at Toro Park.
The meet has a little more significance this year because the Central Coast Section divisional championships will be held at Toro Park in seven weeks.
Runners in the MTAL will get at least three cracks at the course before the CCS finals.
While the meet means nothing in terms of deciding a league title, it's a gauge to see where rivals are.
