Lott speaks to Saints

Last week Jerry Rice, whose number is being retired tonight in San Francisco, spoke to Seattle before its game against the 49ers.
And on Sunday, Ronnie Lott reportedly agreed to talk to the Saints before tonight's battle with the 49ers.
What's going on here?
Now granted, neither finished their careers with the 49ers. But these are Niner legends, who went into the Hall of Fame as 49ers.
What kind of reception is Rice going to get tonight after fans learn that he gave an inspirational speech to the Seahawks last week?
My guess is he will still get a standing ovation. This is about the current ownership and the distance it has put between the 49ers and their past.
No doubt, there are some hard feelings.
