Gonzales football

The Spartans have their first two-game winning streak since 2004. The last time they won three straight was in 2003 when they reached the playoffs.
Now it's much too soon to look at Gonzales as a potential postseason team. But this is becoming one of the best stories of the year.
Prior to the winning streak, the Spartans had dropped 14 straight games.
Three games into the season and Gonzales is 32 points away from equaling last year's entire point total.
