Through two games, Alvarez has produced 86 points. By comparison, it scored 125 points all of last season.
On the other side, San Benito gave up 34 points in last week's lost to Oak Grove. Last season it didn't give up its 34th point until the seventh game of the season.
Through two weeks, there have been 18 games decided by 21 or more points.
