Boys water polo upset

Before his prep career is up at Salinas, Brian Morton could be the most prolific scorer in county history.
With that comes a target on his back.
Carmel neutralized the high scoring Morton by putting three players on him when he entered the two-meter area on Tuesday, limiting him to four goals.
The result saw the Padres end a 15-year losing streak to the three-time TCAL champions.
I agree with Carmel coach Aaron Gaily that the road to a league title still runs through Salinas.
But unless the Cowboys find other options inside, teams will follow -- or at least should -- the lead of Carmel and dare others to beat them.
