Bold statements by 49ers

So what was Vernon Davis suppose to say when asked if the 49ers were better than the Saints?
No?
Of course, the all-pro tight end believes the 49ers can beat the Saints on Monday night. If he didn't, Davis doesn't belong on the field.
My concern is head coach Mike Singletary boldly predicting the 49ers will stop New Orleans quarterback Drew Brees.
Coach, you're not playing. And if your defensive backs continue to take the wrong angles, Brees is going to throw for over 400 yards.
Stop worrying about the rat and focus on coaching before the locker room becomes more divided.
