Another Monterey grad bobsledder

What are the chances of two local athletes from a non-snowbelt community becoming world class bobsledders?
Former Monterey High safety Isaac Fernandez has been invited back to Lake Placid, New York to take part in the Skeleton National Push Championships.
It's the same combine that spearheaded the career of Olympic bobsledder and fellow Monterey alum Nick Cunningham.
Last spring Fernandez, a 2006 Monterey graduate, was a brakeman for Cunningham at the Americas Cup.
