Alvarez tailback to appeal ban

Banned from high school sports for an eligibility issue for two years by the Central Coast Section seems a bit harsh for Alvarez tailback David Perez.
Apparently, this is not the last we're going to here about this.
Not only will there be an appeal, but the threat of lawsuits against the CIF, CCS and school could be forthcoming.
Perez, who rushed for 365 yards in one game for Alvarez last year as a sophomore, moved to San Diego after the season, but returned in the summer -- his third move and third school in two years.
