No, he didn't have a great game? Who did for the 49ers in last weeks debacle in Seattle? It was a total team embarrassment from top to bottom.
If the 49ers can't run the ball, or block, it doesn't matter who is playing quarterback. Who called the play to a fullback with stone hands, that ran backwards in an attempt to catch a pass?
Lost in this collapse was the fact that Smith drove the 49ers down into the red zone on the teams first three possessions, yet mustered just two field goals before the entire team and coaching staff had a meltdown.
