Having rattled off eight wins in its last nine games, Gonzales is off to its best MTAL start ever. A stunning win over three-time champion Stevenson 48 hours after a triple-overtime win at Pacific Grove has the confidence soaring.
In a year where Tampa Bay went to the World Series and the Arizona Cardinals are in the Super Bowl, perhaps the Spartans are part of the trifecta.
