Baseball talk

You have to love the Yankees. They sign pitcher CC Sabathia to an over inflated contract, virtually bidding against themselves to lure him to the East Coast.
New York landed a pitcher that has thrown over 7,000 pitches the last two years, pushing 300 pounds. Sounds like a perfect fit for a team that signs players that don't perform in the postseason.
Yet, if it's true that Sabathia didn't want to go, but was persuaded by the Players Union because taking $50 million less to go to L.A. would set the bar for free agents, that's pressure.
And it's wrong.
Free agency is suppose to be freedom of choice.
