The 1,354 combined offensive yards that Carmel and Templeton put up last Friday is the second most in the history of the Central Coast Section involving a CCS team.
The 51-points Salinas scored in the first half of a 71-7 win over North Salinas was a school record for a half. It also produced a school record 57 straight points.

For the second straight game, Palma found itself tied in the second half with a WCAL opponent. This time it ran off 21 straight points in a 35-21 win over Sacred Heart Cathedral.
A player to keep an eye on is Alvarez tailback Braden Arriaga-Lopez, who has scored six touchdowns in two games.
Streaks of note. Salinas ran off 57 straight points. Palma erased a 14-0 deficit with 35 straight points. Hartnell produced 28 straight points. Alvarez scored the games last 21 points. King City ran off 21 straight points.
