The Sacramento State defensive lineman created havoc last week against Arizona State with four tackles -- two of which went for losses, as well as a sack in a loss.
If anything, the 275-pound senior gave NFL scouts some film to glance at against an elite program.
Choates has six tackles in two games for the Hornets, giving him 64 tackles and 6.5 sacks in his four year career.
A member of The Herald's All-County football team in 2014, Choates was a menacing presence at Seaside High.
