Taylor Rose will be in the NCAA volleyball tournament next week for No. 14 ranked Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
A true freshman this fall for the 25-2 Mustangs, Rose has come off the bench to take part in 58 sets, compiling 31 digs, 11 service aces and a half dozen assists.
The Herald's Volleyball Player of the Year in 2017 for Salinas, Rose compiled 474 kills and 480 digs as a senior. The former hitter was moved to defensive specialist this year at Cal Poly.
