Friday's game
Santa Cruz (1-5) at North County (3-4), 7:30 p.m.
There has been no in between over the last four weeks for the Condors. Either they're dominating or being humbled.
After erupting for a season high 41 points in a win over Pacific Grove two weeks ago, North County was held without a touchdown in last week's 30-3 loss to San Lorenzo Valley.
The magic number for the Condors over the last four years has been 20 points, as they are 10-0 when hitting that mark, 1-25 when they don't.
Brandon Ducusin has either thrown or rushed for nearly 800 yards and eight touchdowns this fall for North County, with Isaiah Solorio having caught 18 passes for 198 yards
Santa Cruz, which shared the old Coastal Athletic League title last year, has relied on Dillon Danner, who has turned a fourth of his completions into touchdowns (11) this year.
The ground game did show life last week for the Cardinals with Jonathan Sherwood rushing for 96 yards and Nathaniel Loza picking up 83.
The Cardinals have to be aware of where Konan Van Lear is as the Condors pass rushing demon has eight sacks.
