Since suffering back-to-back losses to open league play, Palma has found the net with regularity in outscoring teams 71-30.
If it has aspirations of making a title chase, Palma will have redemption on its minds Thursday when it faces Monterey at Hartnell College -- one of two teams to beat them in league play.
Monterey handed Palma its worse loss of the season with a 13-5 decision. The Toreadores are also the only team in the Mission Division to have beaten San Lorenzo Valley.
While David Daniels and Wade Rianda have been the cornerstones behind the onslaught of goals, Daniel Munoz stepped up Tuesday with six goals and three assists.
Defensively, the Chieftains have held opponents to an average of six goals a game during their five game winning steak.
