Held to one catch through the teams first three games, Michael Armstead caught four passes for 78 yards in Week 4 for the University of San Diego football team.
As a result, the former Monterey High and Monterey Peninsula College receiver has moved to No. 3 on the team in receiving yards with 128.
The junior receiver is averaging a team high 25.2 yards a catch for San Diego, giving them a deep threat with his sprinters speed.
Armstead caught over 100 passes in two seasons at MPC. He doubled as a receiver and defensive back at Monterey High.
