Henderson was a cross country and track coach at North County before tragically perishing when she was hit by a car while running in 2017.
The three-mile race will be run along a nature trail adjacent to the school campus, as well as grass loops, ending on the Condors brand new all-weather track.
Nearly 20 schools are expected to take part in the event, including programs from the Sac-Joaquin and Southern Sections.
On the heels of a second place team finish in Division IV at the Stanford Invitational, King City will be among the team favorites in the boys division.
The Mustangs have a trio of distances aces, starting with Esteban Deniz, Fausto Medina and Daniel Correa.
Among the individuals looking to make an imprint in the girls race are Watsonville's Layla Ruiz, and North County's Faith Mora and Andrea Villegas.
