De Anza-MPC football

De Anza (5-1) at MPC (4-2), 6 p.m.
 For the third straight week, the Lobos are catching an opponent that's hot, hosting De Anza, who has won five straight games since a season opening loss to 6-0 Reedley.
 Oliver Svirsky has thrown for nearly 1,700 yards and 13 touchdowns for the Dons, with just one pick in 169 attempts. Courtland Brooks has caught 10 touchdown passes.
 After averaging a state leading 48 plus points a game through their first four games, the Lobos have scored just 42 points in their last two games combined.
 MPC's defense has given up 440 yards per game during its two-game skid, over 110 yards more than it allowed during its four-game winning streak.
 Hunter Nye has rushed for over 800 yards this fall for the Lobos, while catching 20 passes for 181 yards, totaling 13 touchdowns.
 Christopher Lubinsky has thrown for over 1,400 yards and 14 touchdowns for MPC, with Isaiah Kearney having caught a team high 34 passes for 503 yards.
 Opponents are running at the Lobos, having given up nearly 300 rushing yards in the last two games. The secondary does have seven interceptions, two for pick six's.
 De Anza has rushed for over 1,200 yards, with Necholas Sermons chalking up 408 yards and four touchdowns.
 Both teams are on the plus side in turnovers, with De Anza having forced 19 for a plus five, and MPC recording 13 for a plus four.
