Taylor Rose has seen the court in 31 of the Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo volleyball teams 43 sets this fall as a true freshman.
The former Salinas High outside hitter has put up numbers defensively for the Mustangs, compiling 19 digs in limited court time. Rose also has one kill, three set assists and six service points.
A three-year starter at Salinas, the 5-foot-9 Rose was The Herald’s Volleyball Player of the Year last season. Cal Poly went into the weekend 11-1 overall.
