Nikki DeSerpa

Nikki DeSerpa was named to the preseason All-Metro Athletic Association Conference volleyball team for Marist College.

A first team selection last fall as a sophomore, the 6-foot DeSerpa averaged 3.28 kills a set last year for Marist, who finished third in the conference.

DeSerpa is off to a hot start for the Red Foxes with a team high 35 kills in the teams first three matches. She is averaging 2.92 kills a set, and is third on the team in digs with 20.

DeSerpa prepped at Notre Dame, where she was The Herald’s Volleyball Player of the Year in 2015. She lead the team to back-to-back Central Coast Section divisional titles in 2014-2015.

A teammate of DeSerpa’s is Santa Catalina graduate McKinley Fox, who has appeared in six of the teams 12 sets, compiling a pair of digs for Marist.
