Slated to be redshirted last year, those plans changed when Jeter appeared in the teams final three games, recording six tackles, one for a loss as a true freshman at Sacramento State.
The 6-foot-1, 195-pound defensive back is expected to see more playing time this fall for the Hornets.
A member of The Herald’s All-County defensive team as a senior at Seaside, Jeter also threw for over 1,000 yards and rushed for nearly 500 yards in 2016.
