Based on his 3.18 earned run average. Ryan Jensen has pitched well enough to win. Yet, in six starts for the Fresno State baseball team, the right-hander is 0-3 with three no decisions.
The sophomore hurler has 29 strikeouts in 28 innings of work this spring for the Bulldogs. Opponents are hitting just .225 off of Jensen, who had a career high nine strikeout effort earlier in the season.
Jensen was a member of The Herald’s All-County baseball team at Salinas High as a junior and was a member of the all-county football team as a senior.
