Skyler Finnell put together his best weekend as a professional golfer recently, finishing second at the PGA Tour Latin America Guatemala Stella Artois Open in Antigua, Guatemala.
The former Stevenson and University of San Diego graduate shot a 68, 68, 67 and 69 to finish minus 16 on the par 72 course to record his highest finish as a professional, and his best paycheck at $15,000. Over 140 golfers took part in the competition.
Finnell is playing on the PGA Tour Latin America and PGA Tour Canada circuit this season.
Palma gradaute Matt Pinizzotto failed to make the cut, while Carmel product Luke Vivolo withdrew during the second round.
