Palma-Alisal track

I don't know if you can call this just another dual meet.
The six-time reigning champion Chieftains were humbled two weeks ago in a loss at North Salinas.
While that's not the first time they have suffered a dual meet loss in its string of league titles, Palma has never dropped two straight since the Gabilan Division was formed.
The growth of the Alisal program continues on an upward trend, as it sits at 1-1 in dual meets behind distance ace Peter Maciel.
The Trojans strength is also Palma's, which should make for good races in the distance events. Sam Lavorato should be back this week, joining forces with Tommy Padilla.
Points in the sprints with Anthony Villegas and Micah Olivas are critical for Palma, while two-time league high jump champion Reno Ditullio will be pushed in the vertical jumps.
The relays will be big as well as there are no points for second, meaning both relay events could be 10-point swings.
