King City-Pacific Grove baseball

The last time the Mustangs went into Pacific Grove and stole a win is the last time they captured a share of the Mission Trail Athletic League title.
In a league as balanced as the MTAL, a road win could be the difference in a title, as evident by the reigning champion Breakers going 7-2 on the road in league play last spring.
Minus a slugfest in a loss at Soledad, pitching has carried King City early in the spring with Brian Lopez, Armando Pina and Clay Barbree all earning wins.
At the plate, Jeovani Santoyo continues to sting the ball, while Jose Arreola has driven in eight runs, with Santoyo knocking in five in one game.
Hunter Hanes has sprayed the ball all over the field for Pacific Grove and has a win on the hill, while Dylan Graham and Kevhan Ebron have also pitched well.
The Mustangs have dropped seven consecutive games on the road to Pacific Grove and are just 2-12 against them in the last seven years.
