Sitting out last year wasn't the plan. Either was transferring schools. But that’s what Jordyn Enos did, landing on the Colby-Sawyer women’s basketball team in New Hampshire.
The 5-foot-6 freshman guard has appeared in eight games this winter, averaging 2.6 points a game.. Enos is in the top five in steals, and his averaging 1.1 rebounds and 1.0 assists, while sinking all of her free throw attempts.
The former North Salinas standout has a season high seven points against Salem University. During her four years at North Salinas, Enos helped the program win four league titles, two Central Coast Section Division I crowns and make three State Nor Cal appearances.
She was also The Herald’s Player of the Year in basketball in 2016.

Just wanted to reach out and say thank you to you John, for looking in on Jordyn at Colby-Sawyer and writing such nice things about her. She is getting more & more comfortable each week and the new basketball system she's learning is getting far more reactive, instead of having to think all the time.
She was off the court for a year and 8 months prior to this season and she is VERY happy at her new school! Loves the school, Professors, Coaches & her teammates.
They are 12 - 3 overall and 7 - 1 in the North Atlantic Conference.
Thanks again for keeping up on her. That's very nice of you.
Steve Enos
