The former Palma post got his first significant minutes for the CSU-East Bay basketball team and made the most of it.
In 10 minutes of play, the 6-foot-8 Maker nearly compiled a double-double, finishing with nine points and 10 rebounds.
A redshirt freshman, Maker knocked down 4-of-5 field goal attempts, including his first 3-point goal of his collegiate career. He also recorded two steals.
Maker helped lead Palma to a State Division IV finals appearance in 2016, and was the Gabilan Division MVP as a junior in 2015.
