Seaside-Alisal boys basketball

Some 48 hours after playing each other for a tournament title, the Spartans will make the drive back to Alisal tonight in a rematch.
On the court, the Trojans are undefeated this season. However, their record says 3-1 after they were forced to forfeit their season opening win over Soledad because of paper work.
Alisal has an abundance of scoring options, lead by junior guard Josue Gil-Silva, who is averaging over 18 points game, and was the tournament Most Valuable Player.
Ronaldo Enriquez and Vincent Gonzalez have played well early in the season, as both made the all-tournament team for the Trojans.
Seaside, who didn't win back-to-back games once last year, opened the winter with two straight wins before falling 66-45 to Alisal in the title game.
Matthew Briscoe has continued from where he left off last year for Seaside, averaging 23 points in the three game tournament, while Eljiah Robinson earned all-tournament honors.
