Jamaree Bouyea

Freshman guard Jamaree Bouyea leads the University of San Francisco men’s basketball team in steals through eight games with 13.

The former Palma sharpshooter and two-time Herald Player of the Year has started all eight games for the Dons, averaging 22 minutes a night.
Bouyea is beginning to warm to the rims as well, knocking down his first collegiate 3-point goal last week. The 18-year-old is averaging 3.6 points, 1.6 assists and 3.3 rebounds a night for the Dons, who are 5-3 overall.
A three-year starter at Palma, Bouyea never lost a Gabilan Division game in taking the Chieftains to three straight league titles and one State Division IV finals appearance.
