Frank Rogers

Former Salinas High basketball standout Frank Rogers has found a home for the BC Cactus TLILISI in Lebanon, averaging 7.8 points and 6.8 rebounds since arriving six games ago.

The 6-foot-9 Rogers is averaging 23 minutes a game, shooting just under 53 percent from the field. The Euro-League franchise plays in the Georgia Superleague.

Rogers led Salinas to a Tri-County Athletic League title in 2011, earning The Herald’s Player of the Year. During his senior year at San Jose State, he lead the team in points and rebounds.

Last season Rogers spent part of the year playing in the G-League in Greensboro, S.C. of the NBA Developmental League.
