The pipeline to the University of Kansas continues for Hartnell College.
Safety Davon Ferguson and defensive back Jeremiah McCullough have signed to play football next fall for the Jayhawks.
The Panthers have sent five players to Kansas in the last four years, including current Salinas High assistant coach De'Andre Mann, who had a brief career with the Atlanta Falcons.
Ferguson was second on the Panthers in tackles last season with 55, intercepting two passes and recovering two fumbles. He also compiled nearly 400 yards in punt and kickoff returns.
McCullough finished with 35 tackles and forced two fumbles, and was regarded as one of the top defensive backs in the region.
Darren Jones will take his talents to Dixie State University in Utah. Last year as a freshmen, the defensive back recorded 42 tackles, recovered a fumble and intercepted a pass.
In addition, offensive lineman Martin Cintora will play next season at Kansas Wesleyan University.
