It's become an annual get together among two soccer giants -- one that has been favorable for Alisal since beating Bellarmine 3-1 in the 2012 Central Coast Section Division I title game.
The Trojans have captured three of the previous four meetings with Bellarmine, including last years 2-0 non-league win.
But this might be the best team Alisal will face this year as the Bells are off to a 4-0-1 start and are ranked No. 1 in the state and No. 7 in the nation by MaxPreps.
Bellarmine has yet to allow a goal in five games, outscoring opponents 10-0. The Trojans resume is similar, outscoring two opponents 12-0.
Jose Trejo is among the Trojans top returning scorers from last year. Jake Rhodes has a goal and four assists through Bellarmine's first five games.
Alisal is 75-12-17 since 2012. Five of its losses have come from teams outside the section. Four have come in the postseason.
