Greenfield will take aim at a third straight Mission Trail Athletic League boys team title -- the final season for the MTAL in cross country.
The Bruins were dominate in the Center Meet two weeks ago at Toro Park with a 40-point win over Pacific Grove, a team they tied in a dual meet earlier this year.
Anchored by Rigo Garcia, depth has been Greenfield's strength all season, as five runners finished in the top 11 at the last Center Meet.
Being at full strength will enable the Breakers to close the gap on Greenfield. Will Stefanu and Henry Loh were both top five finishers two week ago.
Carmel is expected to bring home its first league girls title in six years. Colleen Lang and freshman Rachel Suess are the class of the league.
Marina will be the favorites in both the boys and girls divisions in the Coastal Athletic League. Two weeks ago Christoher Plascencia won the whole thing among the two boys divisions.
The Mariners girls program was second overall in points at the Center Meet on Oct. 22 to Carmel.
