Lizzy Tardieu

Not only has Lizzy Tardieu set single-season career marks in digs and assists for the University of San Diego volleyball team, but she has produced numbers this fall that surpass her first three years combined.
The senior libero came into the season with 322 career digs and 60 assists. As the No. 12 ranked Toreros gear up for the NCAA tournament, she has 349 digs and 85 assists this fall. Tardieu also has a career high 16 service aces this season.
Tardieu, who has played in all 85 sets this year, is averaging 4.1 digs a set. She could eclipse 400 digs before the season is over for 21-4 San Diego, who went into the weekend with a 13-game winning streak.
A four-time league champion in track and a state meet participant in cross country while at Santa Catalina, Tardieu was a member of The Herald’s All-County volleyball team all four years and was The Herald’s Female Athlete of the Year.
