Lincoln-Santa Catalina volleyball

CIF State Northern California Division III semifinals
Tuesday's game
No. 4 Lincoln, San Francisco (34-8) at No. 1 Santa Catalina (27-0), 7 p.m.
Runner-ups in the San Francisco Section, the Mustangs lost five matches this season to teams in the Central Coast Section, including CCS DI runner-up Los Gatos.
Outside of 6-foot-2 middle hitter Lana Radakovic, Lincoln doesn't have anyone that stands 5-7 or taller in its lineup.
The Cougars are one win away from setting a new school record for wins and extending their season further than ever before.
Having swept 25 of 27 opponents this year, Santa Catalina was sharp in its sweep of Alhambra with McKinley Fox feeding the ball to Maria Santos and Saige Madden at the net.
Yet, what's been big in the postseason for the Cougars has been the efforts of Jessica Clements and Alicia Rector as both have provided clutch kills.
Olivia Satow continues to set the table in the back row, igniting the offense with the first pass while Santa Catalina is getting its share of touches at the net with Fox, Santos and Kia Shoemaker.
A win Tuesday will make the Cougars just the fourth program in Monterey County to ever play for a State Northern California divisional title. Two of them went to the state finals.
