Dariyn Choates

 Dariyn Choates is creating havoc on the outside as a pass running demon for the Sacramento State football team, compiling five sacks in six games.
 The 6-foot-3, 275-pound Seaside High grad has recorded 19 tackles for the Hornets, nine of which have gone for losses. He's also forced a fumble and broken up three passes.
 During his senior season at Seaside, Choates finished with 80 tackles and 15 sacks, earning a spot on The Herald's All-County football team.
