Matt Castaneda

The former Salinas quarterback returned to the lineup for the Willamette football team last week after missing three games with an injury.

Castaneda has thrown for a team high 824 yards and six touchdowns in four games for the Bearcats.
The sophomore also leads the team in rushing touchdowns with three, and is second in rushing with 215 yards.
As a senior at Salinas in 2015, Castaneda broke numerous single-season passing records, throwing for 2,426 yards and 29 touchdowns, while leading the team in rushing and touchdowns.
