Emilio Martinez

On the heels of establishing college career bests for rushing yards (139) and touchdowns (3), Emilio Martinez leads the University of San Diego football team in rushing yards with 550, averaging 5.6 yards each time he touches the ball.

The 5-foot-9 tailback has also caught six pass for 68 yards and has returned 10 kickoffs for 238 yards for the Toreros, giving him a team high 856 all-purpose yards in six games. He’s third on the team in scoring with 24 points.
Last fall Martinez rewrote numerous school and county records at Palma, rushing for 2,482 yards and 39 touchdowns, finishing his career with over 5,000 rushing yards and 72 rushing touchdowns.
